ALIENS (1986)
Aliens is one of those rare sequels that is easily as good or better than the film that preceded it. I saw this movie when it was released in theaters in 1986, and it was spectacular from beginning to end. For T-CON week on there.com, I thought it would be fun to showcase stories and assorted trivia about Aliens at Words and Lyrics cafe. There are two Aliens -focused pamphlets with YouTube links on display in the cafe; one features actors and producer Gale Anne Hurd talking about their experiences working with Sigourney Weaver. Another pamphlet links to a video about the U.S.S. Sulaco, the bad-ass military ship that transported Weaver and a Marine team to Acheron, also known as LV-426. I also have included a video link below showing the cast of Aliens then and now. It was done using A.I., but I think it is one of the better versions currently on YouTube.
